Oben eine der drei vor Ort gewesenen Boeing Stearman, die auch den Löwenanteil meiner Aufmerksamkeit abbekommen hat und von der ich nun ein paar ganze hervorragende Aufnahmen habe.
Unter den zahlreichen Seglern war der betagte Slingsby Doppelsitzer eine Besonderheit. Das rot-cyan Anaglyph macht die ungewöhnliche Konstruktion dieses alten Trainers deutlich, dessen Rumpf etwas von einem Flugboot hat und dessen Fläche ein mächtiges Profil von 27cm aufweist ...!
An intimate local Airshow last weekend was a welcomed opportunity for a family trip and one to take a bucket load of photos. Mixed in several hundreds of those, there are always some 3D-photos of which I want to share the two above.
First is a Boeing Stearman which got the lions-share of my photographic attention – of three Stearman's on site. I took some great photos of this particular aircraft, which had impressed me the most.
From the many sailplanes the vintage Slingsby Pilot Trainer stood out and you probably can see why from my photo!? The fuselage reminds me of a flying boat somehow and the wing has a massive profil of 27cm! Had a nice chat with it's owner too, and discovered we actually share some friends ...
